Happy International Day of Coffee everybody!! To celebrate this most wonderous of occasions, we’re heading to the Dundrum area, the first place we cut our retail store teeth, to highlight some of the awesome cafes in this lovely little slice of Dublin!
Thru the Green
Owned + operated by Kiz and Jonny, Thru the Green is quite possibly Dublin’s cutest drive-thru cafe. Located on Dundrum Road at Mulvey Park, there’s a gorgeous bit of outdoor seating too if you fancy a stop-off, not just a drive-thru. Head here STAT for great coffee, sweet treats and impeccable + friendly service!
Grindstone Specialty Coffee
Serving up 3fE coffee and with a guest grind available monthly (think Badger & Dodo and Bell Lane), these guys are serious about their coffee. Located at the Balally Luas stop, Grindstone is a glorious oasis for coffee-lovers and their schnacks are a delight too. Stop in and say hi, and maybe stay awhile?
Munch by Munasabat
Also right beside Balally, Munch is the kind of place where you’re likely to feel like you’ve happily died and gone to cake heaven. These. Guys. Know. Cake. Their creations are incredible plus they also have Turkish coffee on the menu so, basically, we’re never leaving. Get yourself into Munch ASAP and make sure you get a whole cake to go too.
Relish
Right in the Dundrum Village Centre, Relish has a beautiful focus on fresh, tasty, local, organic, good-for-you ingredients and the love they put into their food really shows. With everything from smoothies to protein balls on the menu, check them out if you’re looking for clean + bright decor, tasty salad boxes, speciality sambos and smiley, attentive staff!
Cafe 105
Sitting pretty on the Clonskeagh Road, The 105 is a gorgeous little spot whether you’re nipping in for a coffee-on-the-run, or you’re staying a while for a lazy brunch on the weekend. Brought to you by the brains behind The Sussex, this is a neighbourhood eatery that is finding exactly the right balance between cool, casual and covered in coffee - our kinda place!
Overends Kitchen
A literal farm-to-table spot, the fresh produce you’re enjoying in the Overends Kitchen has been grown on-site at Airfield Estate! The space itself is bright + breezy and is the perfect spot for a long lunch or quick breakfast catch-up and the brew you’ll be drinking is their own speciality blend!
Fire & Stone Eatery
Technically in Stepaside but we couldn’t leave it off the list…. Fire & Stone Eatery is the kind of local cafe everyone wishes they lived next door to. Serving up healthy + delicious brunch & lunch options 7 days a week and with a big focus on perfectly poured coffees, this is one spot you need to add to your list of must-tries.
