DUO
This new-to-the-scene, retail-slash-lifestyle-store-slash-cafe opened only a year ago in Limerick’s Denmark Street and has been welcomed to the city with open arms. Selling everything from coffee to stationary, the concept store is a must-try for caffeine and treats as well as a few gorgeous bits + bobs for your home.
La Cucina
We’re pretty confident these guys invented the term ‘Go big or go home’ - have you seen the goodies these guys make?!?! We cannot wait to *attempt* to eat drink consume their Cookie Monster Freakshake and then most probably lie down afterwards. Topped off with an espresso to wake us out of our Freakshake coma.
The Stormy Teacup
With a rotation of live music plus some of the best coffee in town, The Stormy Teacup is a must-try on the Limerick coffee circuit and has one of the coolest, cutest surrounds we’ve ever seen Also, their iced drink game is on point.
No. 13 The Factory
Sitting pretty in Castletroy’s Kilmurry Business Park, The Factory is a beautiful, airy space serving up incredible coffee and delicious eats. We are officially jealous of anyone working in the business park now and will 100% be making the trek from Crescent Shopping Centre ASAP!
Hook & Ladder Sarsfield Street + Corbally
Cafe, cookery school, catering service and multiple locations across the country, Hook & Ladder is a veritable giant in the world of boutique coffee and living. Find them in Limerick on Sarsfield Street and in Corbally and make sure to test out their incredible juices & smoothies, pre-coffee!
The Buttery
Beautiful space, beautiful food, brilliant staff and top-notch coffee. What more could you ask for? Pop in for a quick cuppa or stay for a meal and a sneaky glass of prosecco! Serving the good people of Limerick since 2014, The Buttery should be top of your list if your visiting the city and ought to be in heavy rotation on your social calendar if your resident!
The Milk Market
We know, we know, this isn’t technically a cafe in its own right but you can get some incredible coffee here and the experience of wandering around a proper local market with a warm drink in hand is second to none. Head over to Mungret Street and make a morning of it, and start your weekend off right!
Canteen
With a massive focus on fresh, high-quality food and some of the best coffee in town, Canteen on Limerick’s Catherine Street is a local hospitality experience with international-level service. Also, these guys make smores and that’s enough to get us coming back again and again and again and again,,,
The Wooden Spoon
There’s an on-site bakery here at The Wooden Spoon and they are (rightfully) famous for their incredible baked goodies as well as their exceptional coffee. They also have a catering service and you can get your goods to takeaway so no excuses for not adding these guys to your regular cafe/bakery diet!
Green Yard
Heated outdoor courtyard, fresh, local ingredients, stellar coffee and smiley staff = you had us at Hello. Green Yard Cafe is covering all bases with an adjoining bar and accommodations plus the vibe of sipping your coffee in the fanciest, loveliest and most welcoming-est living rooms ever. Green Yard, we’re coming your way!
Green Onion
The Green Onion in Limerick’s Rutland Street has been a staple in the city for years now and the quality of service, food and coffee has never dipped. Art-filled walls, an exceptional menu plus a multitude of plants at the door which always makes us happy, this is a must-try for a caffeine or snack pitstop.
Story Cafe
There’s a big focus on service at Story Cafe and owners Rene & Vedran are there to make sure you leave with a full belly, a pep in your step and a smile on your face when you leave! Check them out for awesome coffee, juices and delightful dishes anytime you’re near Denmark Street!
