General Merchants

The team at General Merchants deliver a progressive menu with some eye-watering breakfast and brunch options. Inspired by the short-order cooking style in Australia, their seasonal menus are cooked to order and the kitchen team draw inspiration from trends in cooking techniques, flavour and style. They source and dial in all their own coffee so you can enjoy a great cup in-house or take a bag home with you. Simply put, a must-visit for all you foodies out there.

Kaffe O

Kaffe O is a Nordic-inspired coffee shop using beans roasted in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Danish inspiration goes one step further with all the furniture, lighting and ceramics coming from there too. Beyond that, the team at Kaffe O have just opened up their 5th cafe and pride themselves on homemade, delicious food with all ingredients sourced locally. Their menu includes breakfast pots, fresh salads and all the coffee you can dream of. A firm favourite in the neighbourhood!

Panama Café

The self-proclaimed ‘coffee & pastry lover’s heaven’, we think it’s high time to take a trip to the Panama Café. Alongside a wonderful array of coffee, you can also enjoy one of their power shots to boost your immune system. Delicious food, beautiful presentation and a super hip location to hang out for a bite and chat with friends, The pictures can do the talking from here.

The Pocket Coffee Shop

Pop into The Pocket to get your caffeine hit and your bellies filled. You can find this gem at Upper Church Lane in the city centre where they serve the best breakfast, brunch and bites until 3pm every day. If sourdough toast and perfectly poached eggs are what you are after, look no further! And if something sweet tickles your fancy, the homemade doughnuts are to die for. Coffee, craic and delicious-ness guaranteed!

Café Mauds

When you hear of Café Mauds, you may be thinking of ice cream. And if not, you will be by the time you’ve seen their menu! With waffles, crepes and their famous ice cream all featuring on the menu, indulge your sweet tooth and enjoy all they have to offer. Our bet? You won’t be leaving hungry!

Satisfy all your coffee and treat cravings in one go at Hatch. The hardest part will be deciding what not to get when you see the array of brekkie and brunch options. Rumour says that they have a Turkish Delight Latté but we might need you to confirm that for us. Pop by and let us know what you think!

Established Coffee

This one is really for the coffee lovers out there. Coffee with a touch of class by the team at Established Coffee. With so many blends to choose from, it only makes sense that you can grab yourself some takeaway bags as well as a brewing kit if you so wish. Renowned for their inventive and wonderful selection of pies, your chill weekend could get a whole lot tastier. Check them out if you’re nearby!

Harlem

Their inviting and eclectic décor in this city centre location creates a cool atmosphere accompanied by some very friendly service. With everything from milkshakes to coffee for all tastes, you’re destined to enjoy your time in one of Belfast’s top cafés.

With seating for up to 160 people, the casual vibe at Town Square cafe is partnered by some top-notch food and drink offerings. With everything from Cappuccinos to Cosmopolitans, the choice is yours.
